“As Cidades Invisíveis”, de Italo Calvino, me acompanha desde a faculdade de Arquitetura. As novas ferramentas de Inteligência Artificial me permitiram dar forma à minha visão das cidades. Comecei a transformar o texto em prompts, e os prompts em imagens. Às vezes, questiono-me se não estou cometendo uma heresia ao dar forma concreta às cidades invisíveis. Contudo, como fotógrafa, senti a necessidade de responder a minha frustração diante da impossibilidade de capturar essas cidades em imagens. E, como artista, de atender ao desejo de torná-las tangíveis. Prefiro acreditar que a série “Calvínicas” é uma homenagem ao livro, que teve um impacto profundo em mim e que sempre será uma influência em meu trabalho. … Italo Calvino's 'Invisible Cities' has been with me since my days in architecture school. The new tools of Artificial Intelligence have allowed me to shape my vision of cities. I began transforming the text into prompts, and the prompts into images. At times, I wonder if I am committing heresy by giving concrete form to invisible cities. However, as a photographer, I felt the need to respond to my frustration at the impossibility of capturing these cities in images. And, as an artist, to fulfill the desire to make them tangible. I prefer to believe that the Calvínicas series is a homage to the book, which has had a profound impact on me and will always be an influence on my work.
